In Loving Memory of Dr. Michael J. Davidson

The BWH community is heartbroken to have lost Dr. Michael J. Davidson, director of Endovascular Cardiac Surgery, to a senseless act of violence on January 20, 2015. Kind, compassionate and beloved by his colleagues and his patients, Dr. Davidson was a bright light and an outstanding cardiac surgeon who devoted his career to saving lives and improving the quality of life of every patient he cared for. These pages touch upon the impact Dr. Davidson had on his family, friends, colleagues, the BWH community and greater public, and the legacy he leaves behind.

The Brigham community is mourning the loss of Dr. Michael J. Davidson and remembering him as an exceptionally talented surgeon, brilliant thinker, consummate caregiver, and perhaps most of all, as a man who deeply cared for his family, his patients and his colleagues.
