Jean Jackson

Jean Jackson, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, RACR, joined Brigham Health as executive director of Human Resources (HR) on June 11. She is responsible for leading the HR business partners, developing and implementing strategic human capital plans and working to create and enhance a positive work environment and culture throughout Brigham Health.

Prior to joining the Brigham, Jackson served as vice president of Human Resources, Behavioral Health, Continuing Care and Talent Acquisition at Lahey Health. With more than 25 years of HR leadership experience, she specializes in developing relationships with staff at all levels and building strategic HR teams that inspire a positive workforce culture.

Earlier in her career, Jackson was vice president of Human Resources for Ascentria Care Alliance, a faith-based organization with locations throughout New England focused on breaking the cycle of poverty and building thriving communities. She has held similar positions of senior leadership in HR organizations at Baystate Health, South Shore Mental Health and South Shore Hospital.

Jackson obtained her bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communications from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resources Certification Institute, a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) by the Society of Human Resources Management and a Recruiter Academy Certified Recruiter (RACR) for Healthcare.
