Cathy Loiselle, MSN, RN, COHN-S, CEES, SGE, has been named director of BWH Occupational Health Services (OHS), effective May 2. Her predecessor, Carin Bennett-Rizzo, MS, ANP-BC, COHN-S, has accepted the position of Partners associate director of Occupational Health and will oversee operations of OHS across all Partners hospitals.
Loiselle, who most recently served as the corporate occupational health nurse manager for Premise Health in Waltham, has an extensive background in occupational health nursing, management and leadership, including prior experience as occupational health manager at UMass Medical Center.
Her areas of expertise include international case management, workers’ compensation, disability management and the Americans with Disabilities and Family and Medical Leave acts. She has a strong interest in employee wellness and will work with Bennett-Rizzo to develop employee wellness initiatives at BWH and across Partners institutions.
In 2013, Loiselle received the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses Workplace Health and Stewardship Award, which recognizes dedication to creating a culture of health and safety in the workplace.
Loiselle received her MSN at Salem State College and her BSN at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
